On Friday, the Ola Electric company announced that they reduced their S1 Range electric scooter price by 25000 for this February month.
After reducing the price, the Ola S1+ electric scooter is available at Rs 84,999 instead of Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom). Price of Ola S1 Air has been cut from Rs 1.19 lakh to Rs 1.05 lakh. On the other hand, the price of Ola S1 Pro has been cut to Rs 1.30 lakh, down from Rs 1.48 lakh previously.
Ola wants to sell 10000 electric vehicles by the end of this year. Ola also is working on electric cars and electric bikes. Ola is working to expand their company across the country. Ola is now the biggest electric two wheeler selling company in India.
The Softbank and Tiger Global-backed firm recently announced an extended warranty for customers for all its variants of scooters to 80,000 kilometres (kms) or 8 years which was 40,000 kms or 3 years warranty in the past.
The Ola company CEO and founder, Bhavish Aggarwal said,”We are offering the longer warranty at no extra costs… the warranty will be transferable if the ownership changes,” They also announced that the customer can extend their warranty up to 1,25,000 kilometres at an extra charge, he added.

Ola launched their S1 model electric scooter in August, 2023. But four electric variants were to be launched in 2024.The Company CEO assured that the bikes would available soon.
