Smartphone manufacturing company Xiaomi has introduced the new Tesla killer Xiaomi SU7 electric car at Rs 25 lakh. It is a sedan variant car. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had directly compared the Tesla model 3 car. It will be available in China in May.
The company CEO Jun said during the launch event,”“Xiaomi has decided to invest tenfold, starting from the development of fundamental core technologies, and committing to constructing an outstanding vehicle. Through 15 to 20 years of effort, Xiaomi aims to become one of the top five global automakers,”
The Xiaomi SU7 electric car takes 2.78 seconds to accelerate 0 to 100 kmph. The top speed of this car is 265 kilometres per hour. It has a dual motor that produces 637 horsepower and generates 838 newton metres of peak torque. All the models are powered by 800 volt architecture, like the Tesla Cybertruck. Xiaomi claims that this SU7 offers 700 to 900 km range on a single charge.
Coming to its design, The Xiaomi electric car is 5 metres long, two metres wide and the wheelbase is three metres. Its low and elegant design offers a handsome look. It is available in three colours. Some key features of this car is its water drop headlight. It is operating the Xiaomi operating system which is fully integrated with the Xiaomi smart phone. Also it offers more hitech features like driver assistant, multiple screen and more.

The base model Xiaomi SU7 is connected with a 73.8 kWh battery pack that gives 700 km range on a single charge. The top speed is 210 kilometres per hour. It is available at at 215,900 Chinese Yuans or about Rs 24,90,413.
But the pro model is connected with a 94.3 kWh battery pack that gives 830 kilometres range on a single charge. The top speed of this car is 210 km/h. It is available at 245,900 yuan or Rs 28,36,464.
The top SU7 variant comes with 101 kWh battery pack that offers 900 km range on a single charge. That model will start at 299,900 yuan or about Rs 34,59,356.
