If you compare the top speed of an Ola electric scooter then Ola S1 Air comes with 85 km/h, S1 comes with 95 km/h, and S1 Pro 116 km/h.
Three of these scooters are not much different. Because Ola S1 Air comes with a BLDC hub motor that you can see in Hero, Ampere, and Okinawa electric scooters, and S1, S1 pro comes with an 8.5kW mid-drive IPMM(Interior Permanent Magnet Motor) technology powerful AC motor. This powerful motor creates more torque and acceleration on these two Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.
Reality:- The reality is Ola Air, Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro’s real top speed is not the same speed that is officially shown. The exact speed of Ola S1 Air is 76 km/h, Ola S1 is 90km/h and Ola S1 Pro is 110 km/h.
Range
The second most distinct difference is their range. As per the ARAI certificate, the Ola S1 Air range is 101 km, the Ola S1 range is 141 km and the Ola S1 Pro range is 181 km on a single charge respectively.
The actual range of Ola S1 Air is 76 km, S1 range is 128 km and S1 Pro range is 170 km.
But you don’t believe in that range which is officially given. Please take a test drive before buying any Ola electric scooter. Because the actual range is different from the official range.
Acceleration
Both their electric scooters give you pretty much acceleration. Ola S1 Air accelerates from 0 to 40 km in just 4.5 seconds, Ola S1 is 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.5 seconds and Ola S1 Pro is 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds.
For these speeds, range, and acceleration, customers may be surprised and will buy without thinking.
Battery
Ola S1 Air comes with a mid-range lithium ion battery that is 2.5 kWh and S1 battery is 3 kWh and S1 Pro offers you a 4kWh battery for more range.

Charging time
Three Ola electric scooters come in three different ranges. So, the volume also increases as the range increases.

Three different Ola Scooters come with different speeds. So, normally their Motor Power (nominal/peak) is different.
Ola S1 Air comes with a BLDC hub motor and Ola S1, S1 Pro mid-drive IPM power motor. So, S1 and S1 pro will generate more power and also peak power.
Ola S1 Air’s nominal motor power is 2.7 kW and peak power is 4.5 kW. On the other hand, Ola S1 and S1 Pro’s nominal motor power is 8.5 kWh.
Boot Space
In this price section, Ola electric scooter boot space is very good. If you compare Hero, Ampere, and Okinawa, they don’t give more boot space.

Ola S1 Air comes with a low-power BLDC hub motor that gives you 85 km/h top speed and 2.7 kW power. Its peak is 4.5. But this motor can not give 85 km/hr top speed. Its actual top speed is 76 km/h.
On the other hand, Ola S1 and S1 Pro come with a Powerful 8.5 kW mid-drive IPMM motor that provides you 95 km/h and 116 km/h top speed. But the actual speed is very different. The actual speed is about 90 kmph and 110 km/h.
Gradeability Claim:-
These three electric scooters’ ground clearance is very different.
Ola S1 Air ground clearance is 10 degrees. If you compare Hero, Ampere, and Okinawa ground clearance is 7 degrees. On the other hand, Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters’ ground clearance is 15 degrees respectively.

If your budget is under 1 lakh then you can take S1 Air. But if your budget is above one lakh, don’t buy the S1 Air. Take the S1 Pro or the S electric scooter that will benefit in future.
