BYD eMax 7 launched with 500 km long range

Electric vehicle manufacturing company BYD ( Build Your Dreams) has launched an advanced multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) called the BYD eMax 7. BYD India has launched two electric car variants: Superior and Premium. Both cars are available in 6-seater and 7-seater versions.

BYD eMax car: Battery, Top Speed, Range

The Superior variant, BYD eMax 7, is equipped with a 71.8 kWh battery pack that offers 200 bhp and 31.6 kgm of torque. It takes only 8.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed of BYD eMax 7 is 160 km/h. The range of BYD eMax is 500 km on a single charge. If you are planning to buy a long-range electric car, that car is a good option. 

The Premium variant is powered by a 55.4 kWh battery pack that produces 180 bhp and 28.6 kgm of torque. It takes only 10.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. This BYD car’s top speed is 150 km/h. Its range is 420 km. It is the best option for a city car. 

BYD is offering an 8-year warranty for the battery, motor, and motor controller as well 

as a 6-year warranty for the DC-DC assembly, high-voltage electric control assembly, OBC, and other components. 

Design of BYD eMax: Exterior and Interior

The newly launched BYD eMax looks sleek and handsome. In front, it has comfortable 17-inch to 18-inch wheels. It depends on variants. It has a large window, wide roar doors, roof rails, and a generous boot space of 520 liters. 

Color 

The eMax 7 is available in different eye-catching colors that are Glacier Blue, Crystal White, Midnight Black, Silver Grey, and Emerald Green. 

Price and Competitors

The BYD eMax, starting price is Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom). But the premium version is available at Rs 29 lakh rupees. 

The main competitors of this BYD car are Volkswagen and Mahindra XUV700, Tata electric car. In the electric vehicle market, the newly launched eMax 7 will find a unique position.
