Japanese automatic company Yamaha Motor has its new Neo Electric Scooter with battery removable design in the European market. But it is expected that this upcoming electric scooter will be in the Asian market including the Indian market.
As per the news reports,the Yamaha Neo electric scooter launched on 14 January, 2025. The starting price of this scooter is 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

- The Yamaha Neo electric scooter is powered by a short range lithium ion battery that offers 100 to 115 km range on a single charge. Top speed of this scooter is 70 to 80 km/h which depends on the variants.
- The Neo electric scooter comes with two variants- one basic and other is pro variants.
- The basic model is run by a 1.58 kW electric motor and the pro or top variant is run by a 2.5 kW electric motor that produces 136 Nm torque.
- This scooter is available with standard and fast charging support. With a standard charger , the Neo electric scooter takes 7 to 8 hours and with fast charging support, it takes 1 to 2 hours to fully charge.

Yamaha Neo E-scooter price and launch date in India
Yamaha Neo scooter is launched in the European market. But soon, it will launch in the Indian market on 14th January,2024.
The Yamaha Neo expected price is 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market.
It could be interesting to see under this price, it is very tough to survive in the Indian market.
So, the company may charge or modify the electric scooter as the Indian market.
