World largest electric car manufacturing company BYD is going to launch the BYD e6 electric car as the name of BYD eMax 7 in the Indian market.
BYD announced that their official launch date is October 8, 2024. At first, they launched the BYD e6 MPV electric car in the Indian market about three years ago. But the upcoming BYD car, how much impact it has, is a matter of time.
BYD has published a teaser video of an eMax electric car that shows some details of this upcoming car.
The BYD M6 (eMax Indian version) was showcased at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) in July 2024. But in India, BYD will launch modified electric car as per the India’s customer demand.
Design
Coming to Exterior design on BYD eMaX offers a sharp led headlights, lighting array and daytime running lights. On the rear, it has two LED tail lights.
It has four new stylish designs and Both the front and rear bumpers have been tweaked.
In its interior, it has a 12.8 inch rotatable touch infotainment screen, which was supported by Apple car play and Android app also.
It comes with adjustable headrests, six airbags for safety, and an analogue instrument console.
It is a 7 seater electric car and Superior Captain 6 Seater.

Battery & Performance
It comes with two battery options. One is BYD M6 is powered by a powerful 55.4 kWh battery pack that offers 420 km long range on a single charge. Another variant is Powered by 71.8 kWh battery pack that offers 530 km range on a single charge.
We should see, BYD will launch in India with same battery options or not.
