Yadea launched its new Voltguard electric scooter in the international market. It was first showcased at EICMA 2022 (International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition). It is a high-speed and long-range electric scooter, which looks like a traditional scooter but is equipped with modern and state-of-the-art technology. This scooter is a great example of urban transport.
The company claims that the new Voltguard electric scooter is one of the best electric scooters right now. Its ‘pro’ version features a high energy density battery that gives more range.
Design
The Voltguard electric scooter is designed for urban transport. But modern, reminiscent of the Honda SH 150i, with a completely flat floor and headlight incorporated into the steering table.
Performance
Voltguard ‘pro’ version is connected with a 3 kW nominal power electric motor and peak power is 5.5 kW generating a maximum top speed of 80 km/h. Its acceleration is 0 to 50 km/h in just 4 seconds. The final drive is by belt.

In the standard version, the electric motor is installed in the rear wheel. Its nominal power is 1.2 kW and its peak power is 2.5 kW which generates a maximum top speed of 50 km/h. It goes up to 0-50 km/h in just 5 seconds.
Battery
The Yadea Voltguard VFV, in its ‘Pro’ version. It is fitted with two 72V and 27Ah removable AT2 lithium-ion batteries which give up to 200 km range on a single charge, where its average speed is 30 km/h. In the standard version, it has two 72V and 38Ah graphene batteries that give 120 km range on a single charge.
Features
In front, it has an LED digital display, USB charging port, 21-liter storage capacity, and a 14-inch alloy wheel. Both the front and rear are connected with disc brakes in the standard version. On the other ‘Pro’ Version has a ‘CBS’ brake. Both the scooter tyre sizes is 90/90-14 at the front and 100/90-14 at the rear respectively.
Anyway, Yadea Voltguard VFV will be available first in Europe. They have not revealed its price yet.
