Ather launched its new premium electric scooter Ather Apex 450 at Rs 1.89 lakh. It is a top series electric scooter from Ather Energy. The current scooter Ather 450S and Ather 450X is less technical support from Ather Apex scooter.
In terms of design, the Ather Apex 450 scooter is similar to existing scooter 450S and 450X. However, the biggest difference is the transparent panel over a painted orange chassis, making it stand out, combined with the bold colours.
The Apex 450 scooter comes with a new technology which is Magic Twist that offers an evolution of regenerative braking. It works on 100 percent battery charge and 40 percent braking force. The Magic Twist function helps accelerate when the throttle is twisted while it breaks when twisted the other way.
Coming to performance, the Ather Apex 450 scooter is equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery pack that gives 157 km long range on a single charge. It takes only 4 hours to fully charge using a standard charger. Its motor provides 220 Nm torque. The top speed of the Apex scooter is 100 km/h and acceleration is 0 to 40 kmph in just 3 seconds.
