India, one of the prominent electric scooter manufacturing companies TVs is going to launch its new TVs electric scooter variant next month. Right now Tvs is the second largest electric scooter selling company in India. Recently TVs has announced its new segment tree wheeler e-rickshaw in this upcoming month. The company CEO & Director, KN Radhakrishnan revealed this development during the post earning call for Q4 FY2024.
He also said that the upcoming variants will be available with different battery capacities and also prices. But it is unclear about its specification. It is expected that they may launch the TVS iQube SET variant as soon as next month.
The government FAME-ll subsidy and the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) are valid till July 31,2024. TVs want to provide a cheaper version of electric scooter under this subsidy. Right now, the iQube electric scooter is available at Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom,Bengaluru) onwards.

Already other biggest electric scooter companies like Ola, Ather are shifting their plan to introduce affordable scooters. Currently, TVs models offer a 3.04 kWh battery pack that gives 107 km range on a single charge. But The TVs iQube will come with a bigger 5.1 kWh battery pack.
TVs is now in top level in terms of selling. They selled 1.94 lakh units this FY2025. They sold 17,403 units this April.
