Toyota has unveiled its new concept EPU electric truck in Tokyo Mobility show 2023. It looks like the Mahindra Scorpio N pickup truck. Recently Toyota has launched new trucks like the Hilux, Tundra and Tacoma.
Hilux is available in India. It is a very good pickup truck and Indians are liking this truck.
The new EPU all design electric truck is a compact and simple design truck. There is no radical style in this truck. In front it has two big headlights, taillights, high ground clearance and a compact cargo deck.
Toyota EPU could be potential against the Mahindra Scorpio N pickup truck which was unveiled recently in South Africa. Although Toyota did not reveal any specifications about this truck. It is expected to see the Hilux truck demand, Toyota may launch this electric truck in India within a few months.
Inside the cabin Toyota EPU offers simple and linear layouts. In front it has a digital dashboard as well as a big infotainment screen. Also, there is a yoke themed steering instead of a conventional steering wheel. It features very few physical buttons.

The EPU electric truck comes with a large battery truck which offers 500 km range on a single charge. It is connected with two powerful electric motors that generate enough torque to carry the weight.
