World most electric vehicle manufacturing company Tesla has launched a new Tesla Model Y electric car in China at the same starting price of about 2,63,900 yuan($37,000). The Tesla model comes with the Model 3 in China, which also hit Europe early last month.
The new model Y electric car offers 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds. The EV gets new wheels and an ambient LED lighting strip in the dash, similar to Model 3. Tesla is also offering a long-range version for 299,900 yuan (about $42,000) and a high-performance version for 349,900 yuan (about $49,000). The company is yet to announce the updated Model Y in the US.
Tesla has already launched its affordable electric car Model S and Model X In the US and Canada, slashing it by $10,000. As per the Tesla official website, now the Model S standard electric car price is $78,490. The Model S offers 320 miles range on a single charge and acceleration 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed of this S model electric car is 149 miles per hour.

On the other hand, Tesla Model Y standard range is now offering $88,490 price. The range of this electric car is 269 miles on a single charge. The acceleration is 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.
