World famous bike manufacturing company Kawasaki unveils its new upcoming electric bikes – Ninja e-1 and Z e-1. Ninja e-1 is a sports bike and Z e-1 is a naked bike. Kawasaki introduced these electric bikes first at the EICMA 2022 last November. Kawasaki was surprised everyone unveiled it in the US instead of Japan. Both these electric bikes are lightweight trellis-style frame and design language very similar to their ICE -equipped Ninja and Z cousins. Both these bikes are equipped with 5.0 kW electric motors and dual batteries.
Both Ninja e-1 and Z e-1 are equipped with a 5 kW electric motor and removable lithium-ion battery pack. Power is transferred from the motor through a primary reduction gear to the chain (secondary reduction) final drive.

Top speed
The top speed of Ninja e-1 is 52 mph and Ninja Z e-1 is 49 mph. In Eco mode, Ninja e-1 offers 37 mph speed and Ninja Z e-1 offers 35 mph speed.
Battery
Kawasaki is equipped with a dual battery pack. The batteries have a nominal voltage of 504 volts and weigh 25.3 pounds each. In Eco mode, it goes up to 41 miles. It takes 7.4 hours to charge the two battery pack. But it takes 3.7 hours to charge a single battery pack.
Features
It is equipped with 4.3-inch TFT digital display both the Ninja e-1 and Z e-1. It provides information including modes, e-boost gauge, battery temperature and charge levels, clock, connected devices, speedometer, odometer, tripmeters, electric consumption, cruising range, and more. Riders are also able to adjust its backgrounds and brightness, and tapping into Bluetooth along with Kawasaki’s Rideology smartphone app allows even more features to be accessed.
There is a telescopic suspension both of the electric bikes on both of the wheels. On their other side, it has disc brakes on the both of the bikes. Kawasaki offers 17 inch alloy wheels.

Price
Kawasaki Ninja e-1 will be available in metallic bight silver/metallic Matte lime green/ebony. The price is $7,599. It will be available in 2024.
On the other side, Kawasaki Z e-1 will be available in metallic bight silver/metallic Matte lime green/ebony. The price is $7,299.It will be available in 2024 in October.
