Ola S1 Gen 2 electric scooter offers dual-sided swingarm instead of a single sided one found on the Gen1 scooters. They used telescopic suspension instead of monoshock suspension. The resolution of the touchscreen system has been dropped from 1280×768 to 800×480.

The new Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 offers more peak torque than the previous one. The peak power of Gen 2 scooter is 11 kW or 14.7 bhp. But the Gen 1 electric scooter’s peak power at 5 kW or 6.7 bhp.

The top speed of Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 has increased 160 kmph to 120 kmph. The acceleration time dropped 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds to 2.6 seconds. Also acceleration 0 to 60 kmph dropped from 4.5 to 4.3 seconds.

The major improvement of Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 electric scooter is its range. It happened because of its software and BMS updates. The riding range is increased from 181 km to 195 km. The charging time remains unchanged at 6.5 hours.

The Gen 2 is light weight 116 kg compared to 121 kg of Gen 1 electric scooter. But the boot space goes down by 2 litres. It is now 34 litres. The scooter is 2mm at 1,861mm, the width is 137mm wider at 850mm and the height has gone up from 1,1169mm to 1,288mm. The seat height has been increased by 5 mm to 805 mm but the ground clearance drop down 160 mm to 165 mm.
