India’s largest car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki is going to enter the electric vehicles (EV) segment with the six new electric cars in India. As per report, they are going to launch five electric cars like eVX, the Hustler, the WagnorR EV and the Fronx EV. Additionally two more electric cars may be added from Suzuki in the future which are compact SUVs and the other is the brand’s EV. We will discuss the five electric cars shortly.

Maruti Suzuki eVX
Maruti Suzuki is one of the good looking electric vehicles. It was first showcased at Auto Expo 2023 that offers a futuristic and mid size classy design. eVX comes with 4,300mm length, 1,800 width and 1,600mm height.
The eVX offers an aggressive front design with a gloss black strip connecting to futuristic LED headlamps. In front it has a Suzuki logo and is covered with strong black glass.
The eVX electric car is connected with a 60 kWh battery pack which gives a maximum 550 km range on a single charge. Its cutting edge technology and handsome look, performance will compete with Hyundai Creta electric vehicles.
Suzuki Hustler EV
Suzuki Hustle EV is available in Japan. But it may launch in India soon. It is fully inspired by the Wagon R EV that Maruti Suzuki has been testing since 2018. The company did not reveal any details yet.
As per report, the Hustle EV is connected with a 30 kWh battery pack which offers 250 km range on a single charge.
The new Hustle EV will compete with Tata Tiago EV, Citroen eC3, offering an affordable electric car.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R EV
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is the most affordable electric car in India. Although, the demand for this car is low. But Suzuki is continuously testing for the upcoming electric car.
This car is similar to a petrol power car. The headlight is a little lower. It was connected with a 30 kWh battery pack which offered 250 km range on a single charge.
Maruti Suzuki FronX EV
Maruti Suzuki FronX EV is now in model mode. It is a compact SUV electric car. Although the specifications of this have not been unveiled. The interior design is similar to the ICE engine car. But there are some minor changes on the instrument console and upholstery.

In terms of Specifications, the FronX EV is equipped with a 9 inch touch display, 360-degree camera. But there are no details about its range and electric motor. In future, it will compete with Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra SUV400.
Two more Maruti Suzuki electric car
Maruti Suzuki is also developing two more electric cars in India. The company did not reveal any details about these two cars. As per report, between these two cars, one is a compact SUV and the other is a brand’s car.
