TVs Motors managing director Sudarshan Venu has announced that they collaborated with BMW Motorrad to develop sub 15kW electric two wheelers to capture India electric two wheelers market.
Although they did not reveal any details of this scooter. But they ensure that the new BMW e-scooter comes with the best technology.
The TVs company MD said that TVs will be designed, developed for the BMW CE-02 bike. TVs is one of the leading electric two wheelers manufacturing companies in India. So, BMW wants to join with TVs to strengthen their effort in India.
Recently TVs E-mobility has seen a significant growth in the electric two wheeler segment. Right now TVs is the second position in terms of sales after Ola Electric. After launching TVs IQube ST electric scooter, they got 30,000 units booked within a few months. Although TVs is planning to launch a new electric scooter model and three wheelers in August, 2023.
The BMW CE 02 electric scooter comes with a premium component- LED headlamp, single disc brake at both rear and front, USD fork, and a single-sided swingarm and an instrument cluster, a small colour LCD, which provides navigation, speed, battery life and more.
In terms of Specifications, BMW CE02 offers 11 kW peak power output, which generates 90 kmph top speed. And its range is 90 km on a single charge. Its weight is claimed to be 120kg, which is pretty decent.
But it could be interesting to see, what will be the price on this BMW CE02 for the Indian market.
