Ola Electric’s S1 Air Electric Scooter gets 3,000 units booked within first few hours after booking window
India’s leading electric two wheelers manufacturing company Ola Electric has opened the purchase window for its latest electric scooter, Ola S1 Air from 28th July. Surprisingly, the first few hours Ola has taken 3000 units booking this initial phase.
Right now, Ola S1 Air is available at Rs 1.09 lakh ex-showroom in India. But Ola has announced Rs 10,000 on this scooter.
The Ola CEO , Bhavish Aggarwal said that they got the first 1000 units booked in the first hour. But this number has increased to 3000 units within a few hours. The customer’s response is remarkable.
Ola has also announced a price discount on their Pro electric scooter. It comes with a 3 kWh battery pack that offers a 125 km long range. It is equipped with a 4.5 kW hub motor that offers 90 kmph top speed. Its acceleration is 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.
Ola S1 Air is the rival of Ather 450S and TVS IQube.
