Ather is providing free access to their Ather grid charging stations from 2018. Many Ather users charges their electric scooter. It is a third grade charging station still today for free.
But from now on August 1st these charging stations are no longer free to avoid overcrowding. This Ather grid charging stations ETA is going to charge money.
If you want to use Ather recharging stations, you have to pay one rupee per minute plus GST. So from now if you want to use these Ather charging stations, you have to pay approximately 100 rupees to charge 80% of your scooter.
The same cost you 20 rupees if you charge this at your home. The new rule is exempted for Ather 450x Gen 1 and Gen 1.5 customers. The customers who bought their electric scooters during December offer. They will get a free charging station till the end of 2023.
Currently over 1400 Ather recharging stations are operating across 100 cities in India and recently Ather entered into a partnership with BPCL. Ather is going to expand their charging station network by using Bharat petrol Station.
