According to the official statement,Punjab government has declared Rs 300 crore incentives to promote electric vehicles in Punjab. The implementation of the EV policy and asked officials to ensure speedy implementation.
In India pollution is a problem. The major cities are suffering on pollution. Where vehicles is one of the big problem. So, all the state govt are taking and implement various EV policy in their state. Recently Punjab’s transport minister Laljit Singh Bhullar has said that the Punjab Govt will provide Rs 300 Crore rupees for three years to promote electric vehicles and to reduce carbon emissions. This incentives are applicable for all type of vehicle like two wheelers, three wheelers, electric buses and also commercial vehicles.

The transport minister write a letter to finance minister to allocate a dedicated fund for adoption of electric vehicles in Punjab.
The transport minister is planning the EV policy -2023. For this reason, Govt will held a high level EV committee to implement the EV policy properly in Punjab.
