Congress and (Bharatiya Janata Party) BJP are the main manifesto on electric vehicles in Karnataka Assembly Election scheduled on 10th May. Both the parties main manifesto is to electric vehicles charging point and electric vehicles. The election results will be released on May 13.
Both BJP and Congress leaders are giving many promises to woo voters. Among the assurances are several promises of turning Karnataka into a major headquarter for all things EV.
BJP wants to give more jobs through the many startup companies in Bengaluru based EV, installing charging stations across the state. The political party has also promised to convert Bengaluru City Transport buses (BMTC) into battery power. The both parties also are giving promises to tax resumption and make an EV ecosystem as well.
Congress also promises to install battery charging stations as well as battery infrastructure in the state with a special subsidy and 50% exemption in SGST. Also they are giving promises to install a charging network compulsory in the apartment. Also they are giving promises to convert 50 percent buses into electric buses.

This is very good for the country where the Govt and state are looking forward to electric vehicles. Similarly political parties are also giving promises to e-mobility. If everybody is going to zero carbon emission, this is a very good sign for India that political parties are giving attention to EV. Various states in India are launching their policy on EVs to use electric vehicles as well as to save the environment.
