On Tuesday, Zapp electric announced that it will introduce 1 lakh electric scooter for Zomato by 2024.
Zomato wants to create sustainable and eco-friendly e-transportation in India which will be completely transformed into EVs by 2030.

Zapp electric already raised USD 37.5 million to deploy 13,000 electric vehicles on the road.
Zomato delivery works by two wheelers that run on petrol. At the same time to shift EVs to save costs.By leveraging our EV fleet management technology and innovation partner solutions ,we aim to create more efficient, sustainable and customers-delivery experience.” said Tushar Mehata, COO and co-founder, Zapp electric.

Zapp electric is now working with Zomato,Swiggy, BigBasket, Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Blinkit, and more. Zapp wants to increase electric vehicles number from 10,000 to 200,000 in more than 30 cities by 2025.
In February, EV-as-a-service platform raised USD 25 million led by Gogoro, a global battery swapping ecosystem, in its series B funding.
