India top two wheelers manufacturing company Ola Electric sold more than 27,000 units in March,2023. Where TVs IQube,Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450x, Hero Motocorp’s are behind him.
But Ola sold only 17,667 units in February which is more than the 10,000 units sold in March. Recently, Ola sales have decreased. To increase the sales, Ola gave a huge discount on Ola S1 and S1 Pro.
On this Occasion, Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said,” The FY23 has truly been a defining year for the EV industry in India. Ola is working on new technology to make cost effective, speed, uncompromising quality standards, all of which have contributed to the company’s consistent leadership position in the market. EV market in India is rapidly growing where Ola is top in terms of electric two wheelers. We don’t want to lose our possition”.
On March 26, Ola opened its 50 experience centre in India. The store was across the country which are Visakhapatnam, Jp Nagar, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jodhpur, Varanasi, and others.
Right now, Ola Electric acquired 30 percent market share of total electric two wheelers. Aggarwal said,”we tried to list it last year, but we didn’t do it. We will do it soon. Then, Ola Electric is now India’s No 1 EV company by revinues – even more than the electric four wheelers companies. We are working the cost effective product. In EV, where battery is the most valuable components. The company is working to make this battery cell at home. So, we set up a mega manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu”.
