Zapp EV i300 launched with unique design and specifications

This Zapp EV i300 has built Z shaped exoskeleton frame. Zapp says it was designed by the Motorsport world when developing it.

Its total weight is 203 pounds (92 kg) without batteries. Its lightweight alloy and composite bodywork, the i300 provides the riders best performance and accessibility.

Zapp i300 is connected with a 14 kW IPM(interior permanent magnet) electric motor that generates 587 Nm peak torque. This bike’s motor is fitted with a carbon fiber belt drive. The i300 gives a maximum speed of 60 mph (97 km/h) which it can reach in 4.8 seconds. It takes only 2.2 seconds to reach 0 to 30 mph ( take 2.35 seconds to reach 0 to 50 km/h).

The Zapp EV is equipped with a 72 volt two lithium ion battery (720 Wh per battery pack) that weighs 13.2 lbs (6kg) each. It takes only 40 minutes from 20 to 80 percent with a standard charger.

In Eco mode, Zapp i300 goes up to 37 miles (60 km) on a single charge. Although it provides a portable battery pack, riders can recharge the new battery during riding time. Also Zapp EV provides a small laptop sized battery for office users where anyone can charge in their office. It gives short range.

The Zapp EV i300 provides telescopic fork suspension in front and on the rear there is an adjustable pushrod suspension. It has disc brakes with ABS on the both rear and front wheels. The i300 can carry a maximum of 330 pounds (150kg) on the both 14-inch Wheels. Its tyre size on the both is 110/70 R 14 (ultra low profile tire).

This new Zapp i300 is only available to reserve and interested customers. Only 1000 units are available in the market. Zapp i300 is available at Rs $8,450.
