Bajaj is going to launch its new variant Bajaj Chetak with more range, specifications. The company claims that this new scooter will compete with Ola,Ather, TVs and more.
Both Chetak 2413 premium and Chetak 2413 Urban variants are listed with premium base models.
The new Bajaj Chetak will come with an extra battery pack. The Old Chetak is fitted with a 50.4 volt 57.24 Ah battery as before. We expected that the new Bajaj Chetak will come with 2.884 kWh of battery energy and its weight is 24.5 kg.
The Old version Bajaj Chetak weight is 283 kg, same as before and kerb weight is still 133 kg. It has a powerful 4.2 kW peak power electric motor. But the old scooter has a 4.0 kW electric motor.
In its range, the new model gives you a decent 108 km range where 90 km in ECO Mode and 80 km in Sports Mode. Both the range is certified by AIS 040.
Dimensions
New Bajaj Chetak’s dimensions are similar to the ongoing model in terms of dimensions. Its body is fully covered with metal, IP67 rated battery, 12-inch alloy with tubeless tyres, soft-touch switch gear with black lighting, 18 litres boot space, 4 litres glove box, LED lighting, and keyless on/off functions.

Price & Launch date
As per expectations, the new Bajaj Chetak is available at Rs 1,54,189 (ex-showroom) and is offered in 4 shades. It is available in four colours like Brooklyn Black, HazelNut, Indigo Metallic and Velluto Rosso.
The new Bajaj electric scooter will launch on mid year 2023 very soon.
