Amazon India and TVS Motor two giant companies joined hands today to strengthen electric mobility, electric infrastructure and connected service. As part of this collaboration, electric two wheelers and three wheelers from TVS Motors will be deployed for Amazon’s last mile deliveries.
For this collaboration,the two giant companies will work together to increase their e-mobility, EV use cases for various Amazon business groups for its networks and logistics and requirements.
Director customers fulfilment, Supply Chains and Global Speciality Fulfilment, Amazon India, Abhinav Singh said-
“our collaboration with TVS Motors enhance our online delivery network across India by adding electric two and three wheelers to our existing fleet.This will not only reduce delivery cost but also it will help our supply chain to reduce environment pollution of our operating and contributing to Amazon goal inducting 10,000 EVs into our system by 2025 in future”.
speaking on the collaboration, Manu Sexena, Senior Vice President of Future Mobility, TVS Motor company said –

In 2020 Amazon India declared, they are going to include 10,000 electric two and three wheelers in its delivery fleet by 2025. This is one step ahead towards the Climate Pledge- a commitment to achieve zero carbon by 2040, 10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement. The induction of these EVs is in addition to Amazon’s global commitment of 10,000 EVs by 2030. This collaboration with TVS Motors company is an important step in the progress of Amazon India in the e-mobility industry and towards achieving its zero emission carbon goal.
