Mahindra XUV400 will give a big challenge to TATA Nexon EV that is the top selling electric car in India.

Mahindra’s born electric suvs that are based on an entirely new INGLO platform , XUV400 is the upgraded version of ICE based XVV 300. Also , it is quite similar to Nexon Ev that is based on ICE based Nexon SUV .
However,one major difference is its length,the SUV400 will be 4.2 meters in length, but SUV300 length is 3,995mm. Sometimes customers want a larger and longer size and comfortable space inside the car.

XUV400 may face challenges from Nexon EV and Nexon EV Max variants because of market dominance share of more than 85 percent by volume . XUV400 will be Mahindra’s first major EV product , which is why its success is all the more important for the Company .

One of the interesting features of this XUV400 is its ADAS features, which provides you top spec Variant electric car. Although different types of electric vehicles are available like Nexon EV, MG ZS and Hyundai Kona EV, they do not have such updated ADAS features.
In naked eyes if you compare the XUV 400 and XUV300 connect, both are quite similar that were showcased at the 2020 Auto expo. And also other features included top mounted L shaped LED DRLs, sleek and handsome headlamps, closed off front grille, body cladding, prominent rear bumper, rear spoiler and edgy tail lamps. As per report, Mahindra XUV400 Provides you two battery pack options and powertrain by a single powerful electric motor that sends to the front wheels. This electric motor gives you around 150hp maximum power. Its range is about 350 to 400km.
Mahindra price could be around Rs 15 lakh to 20 lakh. If you compare the Nexon EV to Rs 18.34 lakh to Rs 19.84 lakh. MG
ZS EV and Kona Electric are available at starting price of Rs 21.99 lakh and Rs 23.84 lakh respectively.
