Ola Electric on Saturday announced that they plan to give chance to test rides for its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters that were launched earlier this year. This facility was available only in selected metropolitan cities earlier this month.But Ola electric is now planning to open a test ride facility to 1000 cities and towns across India, called the largest EV test drive program here.

The s1 scooter has received a huge response from the first round reservations were opened online at Rs 499/-. The other purchase window opened subsequently was also completely digital as Ola Electric is following a direct-to-home program and has no dealer partners. The deliveries will start this month.
Many customers who are wailing to purchase Ola S1 And S1 Pro verient, are inquiring about test rides before finalizing plans of purchasing the Ola S1 or S1 Pro verient. On November 10, test rides already started in multiple cities like Bengaluru, Delhi,Ahmedabad and Kolkata, followed by other cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Pune- from November 19.
The responses of the test ride event are coming positively from customers across the country, the company said. “We are scaling test rides up rapidly among EV customers in the coming weeks and it will be going on in 1000 cities and towns all over India to ensure every EV willing customer has access to test rides by mid December,” said Arun Sirdeshmukh, Chief Business Officer at Ola Electric.” This is the fastest national scale up of test rides ever in India run by Ola Electric and a revolution in automotive retail made possible by our director to customer model.”
Ola Electric is also planning to start a next batch of test rides of cities that will start end of November 27 in Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Coimbatore, Vadodara, Bhubaneswar, Tiruppur, Jaipur and Nagpur. This is another opportunity for EV customers who are willing to take test rides of Ola Scooter.

S1 battery and motor peak power
are different from other scooters in terms of its best performance. Its range is 181 kms , acceleration 0-40 kmph in 3.0 second, and top speed of 115 kmph . Its battery capacity is 3.97 kWh and the most powerful motor in the category with 8.5 kW of peak power. Charging time for Ola S1 is 75 km in just 18 mins.
S1 also has a battery management system ( BMS) which works on battery durability performance, range and safety.
